Mercedes-Benz Otomotiv and En Yakıt have expanded their Turkish high-speed charging partnership with locations in Adana and İzmir. The manufacturer's announcement dated 30 October 2026 puts the network at five locations and 56 sockets. Adana Charging Hub introduces the partnership's first Flagship station concept in Turkey.
Eight sockets initially in Adana
The Adana facility occupies 3,000 square metres. It opened with eight sockets, with expansion to 18 planned. The announcement specifies total installed power of 2,000 kW. A canopy, shop, guest facilities and areas for waiting and working are part of the concept. The Mavişehir location extends everyday charging access in İzmir.
Karbey in Silivri was the first Premium station. The additions in Urla, Selçuk, Adana and Mavişehir bring four further locations and 40 additional sockets. These sites address a mixture of urban journeys and longer routes; they do not represent a new vehicle launch.
Charger rating is different from power per socket
The published station table lists 720 kW charging equipment and a maximum of 480 kW per socket. The equipment rating should therefore not be presented as the power every connected car receives. The car's own DC charging limit, battery temperature and state of charge, as well as operating conditions at the station, affect the actual rate.
For a driver planning a journey, the practical questions include route suitability, availability and current pricing. A high equipment rating alone does not guarantee an identical charging time for different vehicles. This announcement does not provide an independently measured charging session or a range test for a particular model.
Further expansion is a target
The partnership aims to reach 40 strategic locations and more than 140 active sockets across Turkey within two years. That is an announced objective rather than capacity already installed. Drivers should check the operator's current location and tariff information before travelling.
The release reports that the new centres are operating, but does not give a separate opening date for every site. Accordingly, 30 October is identified here as the announcement date. Any vehicle-specific promotional offer must be checked against its current conditions; this report does not promise a fixed charging price for every user.
