Maserati Track Assist brings a digital driving coach to the GT2 Stradale

Maserati has demonstrated Track Assist, a circuit driving support project developed with AS.CAR.I, on the GT2 Stradale. The technology is intended to help drivers develop braking and speed-management skills. In its release dated 29 October 2026, the manufacturer says integration into Master Maserati Driving Experience is planned from 2027.

Demonstrated at the Tampa event

The demonstrations took place at The Motor Enclave in Tampa, Florida, during Motorsports Club of Clubs. The event ran from 26 to 28 October; the press release followed on 29 October. Distinguishing those dates avoids presenting the announcement as a road test performed on the publication day.

Integration, calibration and validation on the GT2 Stradale are continuing. The release therefore does not describe a feature already delivered across the Maserati range. The stated next step concerns the driving experience programme rather than a general roll-out to customer vehicles.

Support for braking and acceleration

Active Performance Control, or APC, is central to the project. Working with the car's integrated braking system, the technology uses active brake and acceleration management to support learning appropriate braking points and corner-apex speed. Maserati positions it as a digital trainer for developing precision on a circuit.

The purpose is to support the driver rather than replace the driver's role. It should not be described as permission for driverless use on public roads. The announcement supplies neither a public-road operating approval nor an independent safety certification for such use.

A planned role in driver training

The cooperation applies AS.CAR.I's technology to Maserati requirements through vehicle-specific development and validation. The intention is to add technical assistance to circuit sessions conducted with professional instructors. Participants should consult the programme's current details for the eventual scope and conditions.

A demonstration does not establish the same outcome for every driver or track. This report covers the manufacturer's project announcement; it does not claim independently measured lap-time gains or guaranteed accident prevention. The photograph shows the actual Track Assist-equipped GT2 Stradale at the event, rather than a generic model or a generated illustration.
